Improve the world: Rescue a Frenchie.
These loving, comical, loyal, intelligent little companion dogs truly make the world a better place to live. French Bulldogs —— Mai oui!! They are everybody’s friend, always curious and interested in what you are doing (regardless of how mundane or boring). Their biggest need is human contact—love!—lots of it. Sadly, because of the hefty price they bring they are too often found in puppy mills. Sometimes they are stolen from their owner’s yard, bred and then discarded. And like many dogs who are purchased by eager owners who then find out that vet bills can be expensive——they are tossed by the side of the road to fend for themselves or dumped sick or injured at a shelter.
Nasty. You can only save one dog at a time, but it feels good to start somewhere and help out—-even if it is only $5 or $10. Check out the French Bulldog Rescue Network site, you’ll both laugh and cry. You don’t even have to give anything. It’s just good to be aware.
